In 2023, the Florida State Legislature enacted a law mandating that owners/operators of multifamily residential properties with 5 or more units conduct a blended Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) Assessment and training. This assessment includes the implementation of specific security measures to enhance safety and security on the premises.
Recognizing the critical need to safeguard residents and visitors in Florida, Kolins Security Group (KSG) has taken proactive steps towards CPTED compliance. We’ve expanded our reach and made it our mission to provide viable options for property owners/operators to comply with this new legislation.
